About Us

Learning Through Play

In our classrooms, you will find an abundance of open-ended materials and loose parts. These objects encourage children to unleash their imagination and creativity, allowing them to engage with various objects aligned with their interests and developmental stages. Loose parts empower children to take charge of their play, fostering independence and meaningful outcomes. Open-ended play materials nurture a child's innate curiosity about objects and the world around them.

Child-directed learning is vital to learning through play. When a child is interested in a topic, they are more likely to retain information and knowledge about it. At The Learning Circle, we support children to construct their own knowledge through developmentally appropriate hands-on experiences. Interactions and activities at our center are intentional and designed to foster creativity and ignite a lifelong love of learning. Teachers have ample time to observe and learn about each child's individual needs and learning styles, which allows for more opportunities to tailor teaching methods to better support each child.

Research shows that the first three years of a child's life are the most critical for brain development. We are dedicated to supporting this development through intentional engagement. Our staff is passionate about supporting children's whole development by working with families towards physical, cognitive, and social-emotional milestones.

I am thrilled to share my passion for early education and my commitment to providing an environment where children, families, and staff feel welcomed. I firmly believe in a play-based learning approach that places children at the center of their own educational journey, allowing them to explore and grow at their own pace. Our school community is at the heart of what we do, and I am dedicated to building strong relationships with both the children and their families to support them.

I strive to create a warm and inviting classroom where children engage in hands-on learning experiences, explore their interests, and make meaningful discoveries, all while scaffolding learning through play. I value building strong relationships, cultivating a sense of classroom community, and nurturing connections between home and school. It's a privilege to support each child's growth during these vital early years. Additionally, I am passionate about mentoring and collaborating with fellow early educators at our center and contributing to a strong, unified foundation for our school community.

I bring a deep love for working with children and supporting families to TLC. Child care has always been more than a job for me. I believe every child deserves a safe, fun, and loving environment where they can grow, explore, and thrive. I want to create a space that feels like a second home, where families feel supported and children know they are valued. Watching littles play and develop confidence is such a rewarding experience. I am committed to building a school community where everyone feels taken care of every step of the way.
